Description
some variables in here. does Brazeau win a spot out of camp... today he probably does but I don't know if he and Poitras are on the NHL roster to start next season. the Bs have some cap to use and if they bring up Lysell (assuming he's not traded for a#1C) then roster spots are limited. perhaps they don't bring Boqvist back or Heinen for that matter. Could this be the end for Jake Debrusk?

they might want to part with hague but there would be enough suitors for him to the point where they wont need to part with a pick on top of him

Like I don't think Hague returns a haul but a 25 year old RFA good defenseman making 2.2 mill is in no universe a cap dump.

I'm sure NJD would make an offer for him

just feeding off of other postings. i removed the pick swap. i don't think he's a pure dump i think it'll depend on if they want to keep Hanifin or not. they've never really cared about moving assets for any return they always just want to weaponize cap space.

My assumption is Vegas would get a better return than this though I guess trading him to Boston might impact the feasibility they offer Hanifin more smile

Even if they want to keep Hanifin they won’t just let guys go. They’ve still squeezed assets out of the pieces they’ve moved
