Lol you never can tell. There’s still a lot of people convinced the lottery is rigged. As if billionaire owners of pro Sports teams would be completely fine with cheap/elite young talent going to franchises that aren’t theirs through a fixed lottery.

doing anything but trading him was a huge mistake. i think they would have gotten more than they did if he was a rental, and they wouldn't have had to retain salary forever.

The return was going to be a good prospect and a 1st which is what they still got but retaining for 6 years isn’t great, the money isn’t bad though
