I'm all for there being two Sebastian Aho's on the same team. Why is Staal waiving to go back to Pitt? And why is Montreal trading Caufield?

Replace Drury with Nadeau then it’s fair. Montreal wouldn’t do it, but value wise it’s fair

The issue is, this is more or less what you're offering for Necas. We've had debates about whose better, but to say they're similar in value should show you the flaw in your own trade logic. That's why I did this. Plus I was bored, and this was a little bit of fun.

I mean, that’s exactly what I’m saying and that you are denying. I said multiple times during our debates that Winnipeg’s first, Barron and like 2 seconds would be fair for Necas, but Carolina wouldn’t do that because they would want at least a big piece for the now coming back. You denied it and said that package was crap and not fair and that I would cry unfair if that was proposed for Caufield. As Caufield definitely has atleast a bit more value, 2 first and Nadeau is more than fair for him, although Montreal would never do something like this without a big piece coming back.

This only proves my logic isn’t flawed, and that you are just biased when saying a package worth 3 first is crap.

Btw, no player in the nhl should be worth 5 first except Gretzky and McDavid

Necas is probably worth more, because he is the better player, better production, better defense, and can play center. So, if you're not including something the caliber of Nadeau, why should Canes ACGMs for Caufield? It makes no sense.

We already have been over this like 4 times. Caufield is the better player. You’re just stuck in your bias.

Something the caliber of Nadeau is called Barron. I know Nadeau is slightly better and plays a whole other position, but they are quite similar. Late first round pick who are playing right up to expectations and are probably still worth that. Barron has taken a big step in the ahl this year, improving his defensive play by a lot

Barron is not the caliber of Nadeau. Nadeau is a tier above. Barron's a solid B prospect, Nadeau is an A prospect.

Necas is better than Caufield, we've been through this. 3 fewer points in 200 less minutes with worse linemates while being better defensively, more physical, etc etc. We've been through it, Necas is better

Nadeau is obviously better, but not that much. Barron is A-, Nadeau is A.

We have been through this before. Necas has worse competition and score less points. He isn’t really better defensively. He has a way worse production than a struggling Caufield.

If you take the small pt/60 difference to say Necas is better, Travis Boyd is better than both of them by quite a margin.

And do I still need to remind you that I’m not a Caufield fan but stats don’t lie, he is better

Barron is B, Nadeau is A... Necas has worse teammates, no PP1 time and more Points/60. He's slightly better defensively, and outproducing Caufield relative to his ice time. If you want to ignore P/60, Necas literally had 70 points last year, Caufield has never even had a 70 point PACE. And do I need to remind you, Necas can play center! Better player, more valuable player, debate over. I'm not having this again, have a good day!

If Barron is B, Nadeau is B+. They are pretty similar lol.

Necas has worse teammates by a slight margin, but plays against worse player. Big difference between McDavid/Draisaitl/Hyman and RNH/Kane/ whoever the third guy is. As I said, if you want to consider pts/60 to determine if a player is better, go ahead. You should then trade away Slavin, Necas and Jarvis for Boyd as he is superior to them.

Caufield is on pace to hit 61 pts while coming back from an injury and struggling offensively. At that age, Necas had 40 pts in 78 games… The likelihood Caufield hit 70 next season is way bigger than not. Also, Caufield literally have a better pace this year than Necas, who regressed.

Necas can play center like Newhook, so badly.

Caufield is 100% the best player. Every stat except the pts/60 say that. He is younger and a better goal scorer.

You look like a flat earther denying the earth is round even though there is solid evidence it is lol.

Barron is a B, Nadeau is an A, you really trying to say they're similar? Stop it. Nadeau finished top 10 in NCAA scoring, Barron is currently bouncing between the AHL and NHL...

The NCAA is such a better league than the ahl right? Lol

Also, top 10 in NCAA scoring? He is 16 behind notable A prospects Jack Devine and Collin Graf
