Buffalo already has

Dahlin
Samuelson
Power
Byram

who are all top 4 dmen and who all shoot left. I don't see Chychrun being a good fit for them.

Buffalo have a TON of good forward prospects, so you may be able to pry one away from them, but I strongly doubt they move Peterka. If they do move him, it would need to be for a stud RD. So they would be targeting Zub. In which case, ottawa also passes.

I don't see the fit.

Yeah, zub or part of a package for Brady. That's about it.

I was thinking the exact same thing watching the game tonight. I was gonna make a trade but I don't really see a framework that would make sense for both sides. BUF shouldn't move him.

With that being said, this would still be a nasty top 6

Yeah I know, I wasn’t actually proposing that trade. It was more for Peterka. I think he’s gonna be one hell of a player for a long time. Sabres have a lot of nice young players, but I’m always drawn to JJ. The kid can fly out there and his shot is lethal. Sens kicking themselves in the ass for passing up on him for Jarventie lol

Sick thing is, they (Sens) could have had JJ, but Dorion thought Jarventie was the better pick. Makes ya sick when you think about it. I know we could do that with a lot of players, but this one def makes me cringe.

And only way JJ gets put into a trade proposal would be for Brady or Timmy. I’m with you as far as making sense for anyone. I mean I’d trade Norris for him lol…how about Norris and Korpisalo for JJ…LOL 🤣🤣🤣

As an outsider, it seemed that Dorion ALWAYS prioritized size. So that was probably a big factor in Jarventie. Boucher is another clear example of that. I would need to look at his entire draft history but based on memory, it's not great hahah.

Guess it wouldn't hurt to have Chych on hand when Dahlin finally demands a trade.

I can’t say much, not being a Sens fan my entire life. My kids have made me into one. They’re huge Brady and Pinto fans. But I can def see the size thing if you go and look at their roster and guys drafted

Don’t say that man lol. Not a Sabres fan, but it’d be nice to see them get this team going. So much talent there. Like Sens, lots of talent, just have to figure out how to make it work. It’s frustrating to watch. I don’t get it.

I know what your saying but it is what it is. Sens fans have every right to criticize Dorion for a lot of things but the 2020 draft shouldn't be one.

why? Stu was a no brainer and he had to be talked into drafting Sanderson because he wanted to trade down, dorion was one of the worst GMs the in NHL in history, the only thing he did good was singing OTTs players out of ELCs to dam good contracts.
