You missed the point because you weren't listening. We aren't trading one RD for another when we only have one RD.
Incorrect, I clearly rebutted your foolish comment. It is you who did not listen. Read what I said & answer this:
Are the Ducks a rebuilding team?
Is Gudas over 30 years old?
Is Gudas a RD?
Is Marino an RD?
Is John Marino younger than Gudas?
Is Marino's contract longer than Gudas'?
Are the AAV's of both Gudas & Marino 400k apart?
Now, if you know how to read, or comprehend what I had to break down in elementart format for you, then you would understand the Ducks would 100% trade Gudas for Marino.
¹They don't lose a RD
²There 2nd Pair RD gets younger
³They lock in their 2nd Pair RD for 1yr. longer.
⁴They aquire draft pick
⁵They aquire prospect (Who guess what? He is a RD too. Not that it matters because this summer ANA can add another RD & a Gudas trade would be seperate, as gaining assets & STILL having a 2nd pair RD does not effect ANA lacking Right handed D men, duh.
