My solution - if I can't trade Granlund...

Description

Assuming the Wild won't even consider trading Granlund, these are the two trades I would pursue to trade Zucker or Ennis and get the Wild out of cap hell!! This is a one or the other deal...both trades do not happen.

I don't like seeing Zucker go, but Eakin is a natural center and a solid player in spite of his slump last season! And, in order to re-sign Neiderrieter, Granlund, and Foligno, the Wild needs the cap space.

I think MN accepts. How close is Dal Colle to the NHL in your opinion?

Do the math. Once those three are signed and you add a 13th forward and a 7 d-man to the roster, there is less than $1million in cap space left. That makes managing the roster for injuries, call ups, etc very difficult.

I think MN accepts. How close is Dal Colle to the NHL in your opinion?

Swap Dal Colle out for Barzal, get rid of the 2nd rounder, and we have a deal.

Give Zuker and Ennis to get a player of the level of Ennis Eakin. This is stupid IMHO
