I disagree with a ton of this.

Absolutely not moving Zegras for a 6th LHD

        Nathan Gaucher definitely stays

Ducks target Levshunov or Lindstrom, not Eiserman

Dionicio is a project, he still needs seasoning

Verbeek has said Luneau will play with ANA next year

I’d personally prefer Pesce at RD

I’d stick to signing one winger and try to go bigger (Stammer would be awesome if Killorn can recruit him)

I look to the future and the ducks have enough good prospects to start to win now. The next year the should try to be a 0.5 team to a fring playoff team. In 1 - 2 years be a 1st round playoff team. 2 - 4 years playoff team. I think Stamkos is to old and with his injury history does not fit the ducks timeline. The ducks should aim to add 25 - 30 year old players so that they can fit the ducks timeline better. This way when the time comes in 2 - 4 years they have a mix of young and players in their prime.

I disagree because I think Joel Eriksson Ek fits in so much better. The ducks have enough good prospects where they can afford to give him up. Eriksson Ek is 27 I think with someone like him it can bring a more complete side to the ducks. I defiantly think if used right by the ducks in 1 - 2 years he can be 82 - 100 point player.

As an Avs fan I do not think that avs fan would've wanted zegras as our 2nd line center. It is easy to say now that we have casey but I don't think avs would accept

He'd have been entertaining for short spells but not what the Avs need in a 2C imo. Not sure Mitts is yet really but we'll see in due course I guess.

Not on the third line he won't, and you don't give up those kinds of assets for a 3C to make 5 million per. Why would Anaheim look to add a Center anyways?

I've got to agree with @Jded here, you threw the baby out with the bathwater. The Ducks absolutely didn't/don't need Byram with their defensive prospects in place, not to mention his injury prone-ness.

Tofolli, Roslovic, and Noesen are.unnecessary signings. Teravinen is just replacing Zegras but older and less potent offensively.

We could have gotten to the same place without giving up 4 assets by signing a UFA 3C if we want one, and going after an actual veteran RHD on the open market like Pesche or Roy, and that's not to even begin the discussion if those guys would accept those contracts. Why trade out a lot of premium assets to get older and not actually address any of the glaring holes on the roster?

That isn't getting Ekker out of Minnesota. He is the second most important player on the Wild with one of the most team friendly contracts in the league.

A bunch of kids also need leadership. A highly productive vet who has multiple cups isn’t a bad thing. There’s more than one way to build a contender. I’d love to hear an example of a team of only under-30 year olds that won it all

You have him as ANA’s 3C. You think JEE is gonna be a 100pt player in ANA as a 3C?!
