Obviously, these trades depend on a couple of things:

I think Washington is one of the only fits for Chycrun, a team that’s trying to get younger and is strong on RD. The real target in this trade is Jensen so we can have a stable partner for Chabot. Alternatively, could we entice Demelo back as a UFA?

Norris trade obviously depends on his health. Do the isles believe his shoulder will come back to full strength? If so, would be great on the powerplay opposite Barzal and good insurance against handing another long term commitment to an older player (Nelson). Sens get Pageau back as a match up guy and can replenish their prospect cupboard with a 3rd 1st in 2024.

Brown probably wants to put a tough year in Edmonton behind him, where else to boost his value again then a 1-year deal with Ottawa? Wouldn’t get the same usage as before but still heavy matchups, PK1, and even PP2

Brannstrom wherever but AZ needs D and has a boatload of picks to deal from

My biggest concern is goaltending but that could be more difficult to address. We’ll see how big of a priority Staios makes it.
