If we sign Roy do we need Burroughs? That would give us Seider, Roy and Petry and we can move Chariot over in a pinch. Then maybe see if SJS will take 3rd for Holl or just buy him out. Yzerman do buy at the TDL so I'm not sure he'd pay to move Holl unless absolutely necessary.

I just saw how physical Burroughs is. So with Burroughs at $1.1M and Petry at $2.3M I guess it wouldn't matter cap wise.

I think, to the dismay of some, the roster in October probably gonna look a lot like it does now.

That's part of the reason I targetted him. He can be pretty solid in a lesser role. Can jump up and play big minutes if needed as well. I want to reduce Petry's time, maybe he can be more effective. Someone has to be a 7th D. Buying out Petry doesn't save much either so figured having him around as a veteran presence wouldn't hurt.
Buying out Holl isn't ideal in this situation as I need all the cap space, I only have a 22 man roster so one more cheap scratch. Also Burroughs cap hit is similar to the buyout. It's an expensive price but I think that with the quality of this draft, could be worth it.
