I'm surprised all Arizona got for him was the difference between an early 7th and a mid-5th, even with no retention, but if that was the best offer they got, it's still a good move. I guess he's not good anymore. I haven't seen him play much lately.

maybe the steal of the TDL, at least for D. Dumba has been pretty good lately and he's UFA. Big W for TBL, who are capable of making a deep-ish run this year, imo.

Big players moved at the TDL historically have a small impacts in the playoffs. Go look when was the last time the most important foward traded actually made his new team won (hint:Gaborik). Meier wasn't impactfull last season per exemple.

At least you didn't bring up Kuznetsov...

For me WPG, DAL and COL did tge strongest moves. Not sure at all VGS will work out.
