If you took Nelson out of the deal it'd be more fair. De Haan > Miller Crap goalie = Crap goalie 2018 likely mid to late first < Krejci. It seems to add up well. I think you overpaid for Duchene 1 of DeBrusk or Zboril + Spooner + 1st + Beleskey should get it done.

Not sure how it's fair. I would hate that deal for Boston. Besides, OP doesn't understand what a NMC is. Krejci isn't waiving. Not sure how many times this needs to be repeated. I'll agree on Duchene. Too much for a guy who could walk in 2 years.

I think it's more fair if you take Nelson out than if you keep him in. We do get slightly screwed as Krejci is worth more than a mid to late 1st IMO and De Haan vs Miller doesn't make up the difference, but Nelson is a young 20G scorer and De Haan is a young top 4 D. They aren't giving up those assets + a first to get 50-60 point Krejci at high cap and best suited as a #6 Defenseman Kevan freakin' Miller.

The NYI do have a lot of young talent and may want to turn some into a more proven player, but if I work it out this way I think you'll be able to comprehend that it's not a fair deal. De Haan + Nelson > Krejci...... Goalies are equal ..... 2018 1st > Kevan Miller..... end of the completely unbalanced story. If you can't see how that balanced completely in our favor then you must be a complete homer.

The good thing is we don't even have to worry about this like you said because Krejci is here for the next 2 years until his NMC turns into a modified NTC in 2019.
