I've seen 4 AGM trades this morning with DeAngelo to the Avs. Don't understand why. Georgiev would be monumentally pissed. Why do that?

Even with that aside: DeAngelo is only useful if you can shelter him and let him produce with easy minutes/PP time. I’d rather give those minutes to Makar/Toews/Girard/Byram. Hell, even Malinski has a case!

If anything, the Avs would be looking for someone exactly the opposite of DeAngelo: defensively responsible, can play PK, probably doesn’t put up much offensive production, physical.
