Might be a steep price but I think Anderson will be a force beside McDavid

Helps Columbus with the cap and also gives them a player who can play a role. A developing good young d man and a first round pick. Id say they would take this trade

    Have to think that price for Anderson is interesting to CBJ. Not saying that's a "yes" as shown, but it's a starting point. Don't know Jones well enough.

    I think EDM is getting a bit too much back in that NSH trade.

    I'll understand if you disagree (as an EDM fan) with the comment about the RNH trade. My point there is that EDM seems to be shopping him more than teams are banging on the door to obtain him.

    On the other piece, you disagree with me saying that offering a 1st round pick plus prospects for Anderson isn't a starting point for a potential deal? Anderson was a 4th round pick...that package is certainly worth a conversation. Damn good player, but he's got to re-sign a bridge this summer, and potentially something quite a bit larger in 2 years.

    As a CBJ fan, there is really not any way we would entertain trading him. FO and Torts love this kid and I am not sure we have seen everthing from this kid. A lot of potential
