When did chycrun become a top pair D I must’ve missed it

I don't hate Chych as a player but D should be lower on the list of needs for this team. You have a very usable top 4 with Pelech, Pulock, Romanov, & Dobson - Chychrun makes that group better, sure, but it's hard not to see him as unnecessary when I look at the winger group here and see Mat Barzal and a bunch of question marks - you've got an untested rookie in the top 6, you're hoping on a bounceback for Anthony Duclair, and that 4th line is gonna get caved in so bad we might never see them again. I'd rather roll with another Mike Reilly-type on the 3rd pair with Mayfield and limit their minutes, and use those assets to try and upgrade that top-6 wing situation.

1. Minnesota isn't buying. 2. Even with retention, we don't have the cap space this year or next. 3. Lee isn't really a fit for us in general.
