That Calgary trade is hilarious

That's a pretty big overpay for Mangiapane. Granted it's a bunch of stuff no one is overly keen on but you could probably get Mangiapane close to a 2nd (unretained).

Made the defence weaker with the Miller/Brodie exchange. That's way too much to give up for a good third winger, and and even retained at 4.35m is no bargain.

Miller started off slow…but felt like he came along. Part of it was a pre-season injury. I would worry a bit, if acquiring him at deadline, that he may be the type who needs time to settle into system. But decent veteran…could be good. Hecka of a shot. Defense is average.

Price seems fine….a 4th may even get it done if we sell him.
