Certainly a unique thought on the trade. From the Bolts view they could resign Hanifan cheaper than the 8.50m Sergachev , or have 8.50m available the summer.
Maybe the Flames would prefer a first rounder in a draft, and 8.5m to sign other player(s) this summer rather than Sergachev.
Sure would be an culture shock for Sergachev. Florida to Alberta. The winning culture of Lightning (which may be waning) to the rebuilding Flames.

It would be used in every recruitment against TB go forward and I’m not sure what TB gets in that deal
