I mean 30+ years ago is hockey history but not the comparable hockey history
In the cap era these trades don’t happen often if at all. When they do the other team regrets it for giving up a controllable top 6 player for a non controllable player.
I didn’t make this proposal. Asking for way more than you would get for Buchnevich at the trade deadline isn’t some way to combat other people offering you a 1st and the 9th best prospect or whatever you say
Okay, first of all, it's also not my AGM, I didn't throw support behind the trade idea and I'm not eager to trade Buch, either, so I have not asked for anything. I was replying solely to your comments. Secondly, in the cap era, trades of near ready prospects/contributing youngsters happen
all the time. Suzuki, Tuch, Shak, Schenn, PLD, Laine, Sillinger, Lindgren, Forsberg, Bishop etc etc etc. That was straight off the top of my head, but we could go on for a good while. It was a HUGE cherry pick.
Maybe this would go easier if you tell me what you think the right offer is. Coz if you think a 1st and a mid prospect gets Buch, you're gonna need to get used to disappointment, bud.
