Depends on how Buffalo values Laughton. If you think he’s worth a number one pick to your team, then sure. It’s a fair deal, but only if you feel Rosen isn’t going to be a top six forward in the league on your end but Philly does.

Krebs is also no longer a top prospect IMO, he’s still young and has upside, shows flashes, but he hasn’t been able to escape the fourth line, and he had higher expectations. He’s worth a second round pick as a reclamation project.

So basically this deal is a first round pick and second for Laughton with two more years left. Sure I’d consider that, and he changes the make up of your bottom six. I like the idea of a third line with him and Greenway on it. Very hard to play against, something the Sabres need to be.

Laughton is Terrible. Bottom of the basement in every category. If you're paying that much you should get and can get much much better. Krebs hasn't had a shot, and has been strapped to 2 boat anchors his entire career in Buffalo
