As a Habs fan, I don't see Colorado to doing a deal like that.

Tend to agree with a lot of Habs/Avs fans on ACGM and elsewhere. The deal that would make the most sense would be Ryjo for Allen straight up. Not sure what that does for the Habs, but COL passes because they can't take that much cap back.

As a Habs fan myself. I agree. Aves decline. They need a 2C. They won't trade a 1st to a subpar(this season) goaltender. Allen a few years ago sure, but not the way he's been playing this year.

The only way that the Johansen - Allen trade can happen is during the offseason, and Colorado will not gonna give to us a 1st round pick to dump Johansen.

If you use your limited reading skills, the trade says it would allow them to move up players within to fill Kempes void. Not saying Pearson fills the void but he would play 4th line with others moving up for cheap

The Kings have plenty of depth wingers available in the AHL that they can fill in the bottom six that would allow other players to move up. Sam ****emo and Akil Thomas are both tearing up the AHL right now and are ready for a recall. The problem is that they don't have higher end potential players to fill in the top six.

Their two top RWs are likely to miss the rest of the regular season, making Alex Laferriere their best RW right now. Tanner Pearson does nothing to help solve that problem.

He fills a need that many sub 1m aav goalie fill and thats opening a door or looking cool wearing a hat on the bench. RyJo winning faceoffs is at least getting use out of that 4m
