CBJ are hoping Sillinger can turn into Norris, more or less. Boucher is a recent top-10 pick, so there is that pedigree. Problem is, it looks like he has struggled in the AHL, and not sure he has retained the kind of value that his draft slot warranted.

1- ok that's about his value at the deadline
2- don't see the point in trading Kastelic for a 7th, he's cheap and a 7th has like 5% chance to become as good
3- bad for Ottawa, Kadri is 33 y/o with 6 years left at 7.0 AAV while Chabot is 6 years younger with only 4 years left. Flames would take that and RUN
4- Hard to say who declines, Laine miss so much hockey
5- That is pretty BAD for Ottawa, lose a good goalie (who had injury trouble) with only 1 year left, 2 picks and a capable young defensive D-man for nothing. Just to be able to bring Grubauer who has struggled just as much as Korpisalo but for 3 seasons...
6- Finally an interesting deal for Ottawa but I wouldn't do it if I was Vegas
7- Awful for Ottawa, Grubauer is a cap dump, Brannstrom + 2nd is nice value
