Nonsensical trade. Tanev has a M-NTC, not sure of the details but gotta think the Flames would not do that to him anyway. Dude wants to play in the playoffs or he might as well stay and see the year out in Calgary.

Don't know if wants to sit out the playoffs. But his record the NHL...Canucks and Flames shows he has been out of playoffs more than in them.
I really don't understand why so many Flames fans think Tanev (and Hanifan) are such difference to the Leafs. They haven't made THAT much of a difference to the Flames for years.
