Don't think this is awful. I don't think Chatfield should be anywhere near a top 4 spot because I don't like him in a 3RD spot, but that's just me. As for the rest of the team, I don't think any of the contracts are awful.

If I was going to nitpick, it's probably a little high on Martinook and Drury, and if you're signing Jarvis to that much money, you may as well get the 8th year. There's nothing too bad here outside of Chatfield in the top four.

However, one question I do have for you is: Where is Martin Necas in all this?

Nikishin can't come over next year. TDA won't be in the top 6. I'd love that chatfield deal. I'll be disappointed if those are the final forward lines.....I also am fairly certain Jarvis is headed toward a bridge deal.

I know nikishin could only come in 2025 but that still means skjei would be earning a lot on the 3rd pair for a few years. I wouldnt be happy with TDA top 6 either but we dont have anyone in the system who is nhl ready except for nikishin. Maybe coghlan can improve, hes had a good year in the ahl so who knows. I dont think the forward lines are that bad. Koivunen has had a really good year in finland so i think theres a chance he can make the jump. I think pono is ready now, but they would rather him get top line minutes in the AHL than bottom line minutes in the NHL. Wouldn't mind a bridge deal for jarvis but would also love to tie him down for a long time.
