2024-25 Laval Rocket

Créé par: jonh514

Description
I think the Rocket are gonna be really fun to watch next year.

I don't think it's a given that any of Roy and the rest graduate. I can see them starting in Laval until they prove they deserve to unseat someone in Montreal.

hopefully Kasy gets signed because there's nobody to bring up to backup Doby. Fowler, Volokhin, Miller will all be a few years away from pro. I'm not the biggest Miller fan, and I see him going to TR in the Echl

3 things:

1) There is no rush
2) What's wrong with him hanging in Laval and having a season that makes Mailloux look like a slacker?
3) He will need to adjust to the size and speed of the game. I wanna see what Matheson, Guhle, Struble & Xhekaj look like next year

We can surely find a Goalie to play in Laval during silly season.

1) I don't think that he is in the category of prospects that need more years for his development in the AHL. He is in the '' special player '' category. For someone who see him in person, he is DOMINANT offensively........... but his biggest weekness is his size (looks like 5' 9 1/2'' when I meet him), but he is able to always ajust himself on the good situation to avoid that.

2) Nothing wrong, just that he will gonna have a impressive rookie season and will gonna be in the Calder trophy conversation in 24-25.

3) He is already able to ajust his play about the game situation. He is more defensive when they're a more difficult or tougher challenge. Just looks last summer at the World Championship with team USA (who played against men's, and who's played with somes NHL'ers like Alex Tuch, Connor Garland or Nick Bonino).

There's nothing wrong with waiting your turn. The King's had Clarke (arguably an equivalent prospect) spend half a season in the AHL and it was to his benefit.

Clarke is a great player, but my personal opinion is that Hutson >.

But just look Luke Hughes with NJD.

Hutson is all brain, Clarke & Hughes have physical attributes. If Hutson's brain translates, he'll be a great player. It IS possible it doesn't, and then he may just be a PP specialist.

Harris would have to pass waivers to play in Laval and there is a 0% he isn’t getting claimed.

Also, you need vets

Personally I think young players who have been around 2-3 years can lead others. It works in College. I am not opposed to moving some players out for career AHL'ers, but which ones?
