This is more negative than positive for Calgary, Middelstadt would be an interesting guy to try-out as the #1 center but, Calgary is facing more of a retool than a rebuild and losing Weegar just shifts the problems they'll need to fix

Arizona isn’t trading Hayton, he’s the one who does all the dirty work for Keller and Schmaltz without the box score love. Their line has been top 30 in the league in xG% the last year and a half, Keller and Schmaltz aren’t the same without him.

Not a very positive off season if the Flames make that trade. Weegar and Andersson aren’t for sale

Unless Ehlers has made it clear that he won't resign in Winnipeg, the Jets don't consider that.

Removing Ehlers would be pretty detrimental to WPG's offense and their ability to stay competitive. I don't see them doing this. It's a weak draft year and WPG already has Lambert, Mcgroarty, Barlow, Lucius on the come-up. I think they'd rather win now.
