Maybe this gets mika going which matters more than any potential trade. Leaves plenty of money to address the 4th line or defense

He went for a 2nd and 4th round pick last year. A 2nd and korzack is probably better value. If you guys fall out of it you might have no choice

He was injured too, he's already averaging a point per game with Detroit. And sorry the Rags aren't even close to winning the cup. If Kane waives it sure as hell isn't for the NYR.

2nd, 3rd, 4th last year…with $10.5m AAV and picked where he wanted to go. Hard to use that as baseline.

(Could be more, could be less…just hard to use to predict price this year).

dude was awful on the rangers last year. don't want any part of him, even if it was for free

firmly believe that if that trade wasn't made, the rangers....probably still don't go all the way, but they at least get to the 2nd round

Isn't Mika being paid to be this "elite" first C? So he should get going by himself, that is what I'm saying.
And no Kane Isn't coming back. And I don't want him back. 16 pts in 19 games is okay, but he is just a shadow of what he use to be.
