He only has a 15-team NTC and when he signed the contract, the Blues were still (relatively) competitive. Definitely not a given that they are on his NTC.

That NTC, depending on the terms of the contract could either be submitted at the beginning of the season (which is less common) or at the time of the request by the Rangers to submit his list.

Don't really want Berard. Don't really mind if Goodrow comes the other way, but Berard is too small and is another forward that we don't really need

Personally I'd prefer it to be the 24 1st and 25 1st, I'm just going with the rumor that they are trying to preserve the 24 1st.

Either way it's not the right kind of offer at all.

I prefer 25 picks to 24 ones if coming from a good team that won’t be picking in top 15 in 24 draft.

Easy pass for the Blues

Blues decline. Another winger prospect isn't that appealing for us. I'd rather have Hayes contract than Goodrow's contract. The firsts are nice but are a year and 2 years away
