I like these picks. If I had to rank them based on how much I want:

1- Buch
2- Vatrano
3- Mang
4- Frost
5- Jenner
6- Laughton

As much as I want to keep our first round pick, I fully expect it to be traded along with Wally and Aho/Bolduc

I have to agree. I really don't have interest in any of the Islanders prospects and the players I do have interest in on the Islanders are surely very untouchable.

I doubt you'd like what it'd cost to pry Buchnevich, Mangiapane or Jenner away from their current teams.

Not sure you've got the pieces to outbid anyone else for Jenner, unfortunately. His value is highest to the team he's already on, who has no interest in moving him and who he's expressed no interest in leaving, so the cost to convince Columbus would be high. And other teams can pay more since his cap hit is so low pretty much any contender can fit it in.

Flames fans seem ok with a 2nd round pick + Wahlstrom for Mangiapane. Even if it costs a little more than that, out of those three I think Isles could get him the easiest. Cap would be the bigger hurdle than trade value.

That's probably fair. I think he's worth a 1st round pick + though, I have seen some pretty brutal offers on here for him. I'll take a leader like him making $3.75m for a couple years any day now

Oh, for sure. In a vacuum, a player like that's value is probably first + A/B prospect. But the other factors raise it from there.

Possibly but for Conroy to accept an offer that low it'd have to be without retention and he'd need to already have a very good idea how he's going to spend the cap space gained. In that case the main cost for the Isles would be cap space which as you say would be a big hurdle for them.
