Colorado would much rather keep Johansen than take on Allen and Evans. This has them downgrading at center and taking on a bad goalie they have no use for.

Lmfao are you out of your mind? Colorado does this in a heart beat. As a Habs fan I’m not touching Johansen with a ten foot pole.

This was my thought too, wanted to crowdsource a bit though. That being said I don't know if COL would use their 1st here, could be wrong though.

Unloading the Johansen contract which is still on the books next season, upgrading by getting Evans (a 4c but still an upgrade) and Allen at 50% retained? I think they might tbh. Maybe throw in a 3rd rounder on our side (would be a high 3rd)
