The Ducks want none of those pieces other than the picks. Goodrow coming to Anaheim will never happen so just stop trying. Together this is the easiest "no" possible.

If they trade separately to other teams, they can get two 1st+ and without taking the goodrow cap dump. This makes 0 sense for Anaheim.

Having said that, there’s a lot of talk of goodrow not waiving, if NY wants to include him in a deal, they simply tell him he’s going on waivers and he doesn’t get claimed then the trade partner will claim him when they rewaive him. So he can take his chances on waivers or accept the trade. It’s a tough way to do business but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Detroit is one of the front runners for Vatrano and requires no retention. plus the Verbeek and Yzerman relationship. yeah good luck if you honestly think this trade is remotely happening.

The Rangers smoked the wings twice this year, Frankie V wants to go somewhere he can win, not freeze and rot while they lose in the first round or fall out of a playoff spot in the back half of the season. The Rangers went to the Conference finals two years ago so you can't say this team isn't capable of a run. Even if the wings do get Vatrano they aren't doing anything anyway, they'll bet out in the first round by one of the big dogs like Boston or Florida. Plus do you think he wants to go the Detroit, Michigan? It's one of the biggest dumps in America. He wants to go to NY where he could be in the spotlight, not some poverty city with a weak fanbase.
