Nedeljkovic trade doesn't do the Pens much good. I'm not convinced that they're going to be selling this year, so Ned isn't necessarily available. Even in the case that he was, the Pens already have Joel Blomqvist and Sergei Murashov in the system. Akhatiamov looks like a pretty solid prospect, but the Pens need skaters in the prospect pool a lot more than they need another goalie.

There are about 12 teams interested in Tanev according to the rumor mills. I think they'll get a better offer.

Quite possibly! Niemela is a solid prospect though. Time will tell what Tanev gets.

problem with this is PIT already has 2 really good goalie prospects in the system.
