Definitely a ton of what if's here.

I'm not really sure Vatrano would've ever been a consideration and nothing against him but he's getting more playing time in ANA because they're a lesser team than NYR/FLA so his numbers are a bit inflated. I'm sure with Sid he'd have great numbers.

Mikheyev is another one that I just don't know if they sign, VAN went on a ledge and overpaid him and it's working okay for them so far.

I don't hate the Rakell signing and i'm not sure there is a reason to reconsider it. He started cold this year (that happens to players) and he was injured for a bit.

I've made posts on here about Matheson and Marino, both of those were head scratchers at the time, so confusing and same with Erod.

Heinen/laff are whatever, i'd take blueger back but didn't hate that they moved him.

Lyubushkin absolutely not, dude is a pylon.

I may be mistemembering, but didn't they move him to TOR for a pick since they couldn't protect him in the SEA expansion draft, so they got a pick out of it instead of losing him for nothing?

I feel like there’s too much obsession with Trocheck. Without him the team is fine. We always had a third line centre(Blueger) and the team always pushed him aside despite him being a strong two way player. Then letting Rakell walk would’ve been stupid because he plays well with Sid and Geno. Keeping ERod around would’ve been either good or stupid. Good because maybe he’d be playing the same way he is right now or bad he just becomes heavily inconsistent just like the year he broke out with us. Lafferty was always a solid player though and always pushed aside for other players which always sucks.

      The Penguins fans carousel:

      - Complain their GM doesn’t make good moves
      - GM makes a move and Pens fans celebrate
      - Complains about the moves their GM made
      - Repeat

The pick was a 7th along with prospect *Hallander who plays in Sweden. You can look at it that way but ive always looked at it as Hextall managed to somehow lose 2 players to expansion (McCann and Tanev)...
