I struggle with Juulsen being thrusted into 20+ minutes a night with Hughes. I don't see him as a suitable player to fill that role. He's possibly a bottom pair so no need for Brannstrom.

That means either Joshua and/or Blueger are unlikely to return. It also means Miki is probably on the block to pay a dman to be top 4.

I'm intrigued by a line with Lindholm at center and Garland on his wing. Less so with Miki. I don't see the fit. Hoglander would likely be a better fit or a playmaker that can do some dirty work in tight and less perimeter oriented.

Time for some of the AHLers to fill the bottom line. Can Pod do what Hoglander is doing? Can Karlsson contribute regularly? Maybe Bains?

Think you proved my point. Tavares contract ends when he is 34 years of age. An eight contract for Lindholm would end when he's 37.
Sure Tavares production has deceased this year, Lindholm's has decreased for two years. Gee, I don't know you if Lindholm is going to near worth his contract if it's eight years, but history shows probably not.
