I'd be interested in Brannstrom on the Isles if Pelech has to go on LTIR; I'd be more interested in giving up a different body than Bolduc at this point. Isles have minimal cap room next year and while Bolduc hasn't taken a big leap yet, I would still rather have him on an $800K hit next year playing LD3 than whatever else they would drag out of free agency at a similar hit.

Hmmm, I see what you mean but I think Wahlstrom has more to offer as a bottom-6 forward. He also doesn't get ice-time, maybe he'd produce more too if he would (he's also younger and cheaper)

I prefer Kakko . Dude is a legit 3rd line defensive forward with offence to be unlocked and has size . He’d be a perfect fit with Joseph and Pinto

if it was my team? no - but then again, if it was my team I would be pushing for Wahlstrom to get more than 11 minutes a night.

in the real world, I think it would be fair - if Pelech is out long-term, Brannstrom would help stabilize the LHD depth chart behind Romanov & Reilly.
