Depends how close they think Del Maestro, Allen, and Rinzel are to the NHL. Probably another year for Allan and Rinzel but EDM might be ready, as well as Kaiser.

Rinzel goes back to college for sure. He's at least 2 years away. He could possibly replace Murphy if Murphy plays out his contract in Chicago. EDM has played exclusively on the left side. Can't see the Hawks throwing him on the right side with no games there in the AHL. Agree that Allen would benefit from another season in AHL. I don't see Kaiser as an option at all.

Rinzel COULD play in the AHL next year no problem, IMHO, if he and the team want him to. He has developed a lot faster than expected and looks really good this year. Personally, I think he is better than Levshunov, and outside of their draft years, they are pretty much at the same points in their development. But, yeah, I'd bet Rinzel plays two years in college.
