The Avs don't move 1sts for rentals; outside of the Kuemper situation, they just don't do that. I know a lot of people want to see them make a big move but, if they do anything to try to address the top six, it's probably not going to be for anyone that costs a 1st unless they're taking RyJo back and, even then, it's unlikely.

Yes, he would. It's not as sexy as Lindy but there isn't a ton of difference between the two in their level of play this season and one will be a lot cheaper than the other. I'm agreeing with you in a way but I don't think the Avs should be in the Lindy rental business at all (and I don't believe they will be).

Henrique is having the same season Lindholm is having with three-and-a-half minutes' less time on ice per game, is almost as good in the faceoff circle (both over 54%), and is better defensively. Moreover, he'll probably come at a lower cap hit because it is rumored that Calgary is loath to retain.
