Doesn't really answer any issues at G, and in fact makes it potentially worse going forward. The third pairing is rough on D. Drouin on the 4th line is a waste. Adding Crosby is great and all but the other parts make it a decline for me. All moot points though, as the Pens probably wouldn't even consider moving Sid.

If the pens were ever to trade Crosby it’d probably be a Giroux like return when he was traded from Philly. It’s not fair, but if he’s being moved he has 100% control of the situation and location.

I still think it would be way too large of a casual fan backlash to consider it.
