Just read through this thread again bud. Several people have provided statistical evidence to support the fact that Parayko isn't what you guys say he is. Your response was essentially "nuh uh" and then proceeded to lash out at other teams when you collectively realized you have no legs to stand on. "The eye test!" And then insults and deflecting. Parayko has been really good this year. Main reason a not very talented Blues team has won their last 5 games. His contract is a bargain. Maybe just maybe if you didn’t act like you were the smartest guy in the room and actually watched a hockey game every once in awhile, you might actually enjoy it. I believe in analytics but there’s more to it. Again if you and the franchise you root for also realized this, maybe you wouldn’t continue to be giant playoff failures.

You don't know how to read those numbers. He's negative across the board at 5v5. On the ice for more goals against than anyone else on the blues. Goals for percentage and expected goals for percentages are 44% which is not good. 50% is break even. High danger chances for % etc etc all are poor. He's not making a difference. He isn't carrying anyone. I don't doubt that if you put him next to Rielly that Parayko would look way better but that's because Rielly is terrific. You don't pay someone 6.5 million to look good next to another guy. You better be tilting the ice in your teams favor and Parayko doesn't do that on his own.
