Guentzel is a top 5 LW and Petterson is a top pairing D on a cheap deal . You have to give a lot to get a lot

The value isn’t there. Dallas needs a bottom six forward and a solid defenseman. There are way better options than this package. I think Hanifin would cost less and be a better defenseman. Add in a bottom six veteran like Nic Dowd or Oskar Sundqvist and Dallas improves the team overall for a cup run without selling the farm.
