Even after trading KK, Necas, Pesce and a bunch of draft capital…the Canes season still comes down to Goalies.

I love Lindholm and want him back in a Canes jersey, but you can’t win a cup by having to ‘outscore’ your opponent every night. In the playoffs, we can’t rely on the current goalie depth chart to be healthy and consistent.

I agree, but you can still make moves with this roster, while still retaining draft capitol. I do think they need to make a move, but these trades set up their future for the next 8+ years. Acquiring the like of Vejzmelka from Ari or honestly Merzy with retained salary. Playoff hockey is weird. Any goalie can turn into a wall all of a sudden.

Svech-Aho-Marner might just be the best line hockey.

You missed fixing the goalie situation... just trade a third to the pens for ned and be done with it

These are great moves. The trade with Toronto might need a couple tweaks to actually get it done and we need a goalie like others have mentioned, but otherwise great job.
