Not really interested in Lucius.. too many injuries and I expect the flames to think the same for the most part.

Pretty much Lambert or bust(my opinion and wants).

As I posted this I got the news Lucius is out. This kid just can't stay healthy. Feel awful for him.

Should take out Tanev, he fills no need.

No need to make a lateral move at best with Appleton and Barron. Why does everyone want to mess with one of the best teams in the league to add a cap dump and a nothing bottom sixer or other similar filler?

Why risk the chemistry for such marginal pieces?

If Heinola gets into the lineup Tanev would be a great thing for him. Tanev was great for Quinn Hughes in Vancouver. I'm not saying Heinola is at the same level as Hughes but Heinola can create alot of offense and having a guy like Tanev on his pairing might give him the freedom to generate offense.

I'm trading Appleton and Barron for players who have right hand shots to play the right side. We have alot of left hand wingers already. Ylonen is a young player who could be a great depth add for now and future. Armia had some chemistry with Lowry in the past and he is more defensive responsible than Appleton.

These adds to me would not mess too much with the chemistry in the room.

Yes to the CGY trade, though with Lucius getting injured, the Flames would likely prefer to swap him out.
Absolutely zero interest in the MTL trade

You can have Armia for free and the Jets seem like the one destination that is a win-win scenario for both clubs. The Habs dont need to move him. And, if he's not moved they wash their hands clean with a buy out in the offseason at 800k in 2024-25 and 1.2M AAV in 2025-26. Hes way overpaid on a bottom feeder club but he's been effective with Monahan/Roy of late and should help a contender defensively, on the pk, down low and he has been a good playoff performer in the past. You cant say the same for say a Tyler Johnson in Chicago.

Fun fact.

Joel Armia has as many goals as Tim Stutzle awesome face

So with Lucius being out for the season now with ankle surgery would Barron be a piece to acquire Lindholm.

WIth the MTL trade I heard from a habs fan that Ylonen might be difficult to acquire hence why I added Armia to the deal as a cap dump for MTL. But like someone else posted here Armia would be a great piece for WPG who is familiar with Armia and how he plays. He can add a major boost to the PK (which is greatly needed), had chemistry with Lowry in the past and also can play the right side. All great things to add to a contending team like WPG.

As for Lindholm.. it would depend on what CGY would want.. Barron doesn’t equate to Lucius and, personally, I’d keep him if possible… could need Barlow, or another of that level…but I wouldn't move Lambert or Salomonsson

Ylonen would likely cost a 3rd, at most… he’s got 7 pts in 38 GP… he’s at best a depth, 4th line RW
Armia, and his contract, are absolutely not wanted or needed in WPG

Not overly greedy, he's the best centre on the market at the moment.

I would aim for Lambert and a conditional first that turns into a 2nd if ever the Jets don't make it to the western conference finals.

No additional bells and whistles, simple two for one trade with retention.
