schenn sucks idk where this obsession has come from, he's getting healthy scratched on a worse team in nashville. guy has been a genuine liability this year and his contract is like reaves' on steroids

Schenn has been awful for the preds and will only get worst. At least klingberg goes away in the off season.
Man people got so hypnotized by Rielly carrying his ass for a dozen games

Schenn is at best a 5th defender. Usually a 6th. He worked great with Rielly for two main reason. Reilly tends to work good with defenders that are above the their weight class. IE hainsey, Lyubushkin, Brodie. At the same time, near the end Hainsey was having trouble keeping up with Reilly, ditto for Brodie this year.
Point is sample size was small for Schenn as it was 13 games in the playoffs. Hard to guarantee a great pairing over a full year.
Reality, Schenn would struggle as much as Brodie. Making little improvement and now we are stuck with a contract for next couple years.
