For Winnipeg, neither player provides anything that Winnipeg needs and together do not provide enough depth value to warrant moving a high 2nd.

Walker stood out in the game against the Jets this weekend and would be an improvement over Schmidt in the bottom pair—or even knocking Pionk down—when we get to playoff-style hockey. With Drysdale in the fold now Philly has 4 RD and Walker is the most likely to be moved.

I think the Flyers top priority will be acquiring a 1C and draft assets.

As a Flyers fan, if Walker can't get a first at TDL, I think this offer is pretty fair. WPG having MTLs 2nd would help them win out against other buyers. I personally don't have much interest in Stanley but I could see that as someone Jones and Briere would want to take a flyer on. But we currently have a logjam at D so I only think we would take back Stanley if one of Seeler or Staal are also traded.
