I get that Greenway is huge. But I don't think he is worth that price (I know he went for that last year). I would rather a different player for those pieves.

We truly need a top 3 dman. We don't need another 7th D. Our depth on D is actually VERY good. But we are missing 1 higher end guy to move everyone down.

So I don't love the lyubuskin add either. Even though I like the player.

For a 3rd line LW I would go for ARI McBain over Greenway.

I agree regarding the defense as well. The Leafs need another top dman. I don't care LHD or RHD. We can work around it, just get a top pairing dman. Move any forward or asset not named Matthews to make it happen.

There is a big issue with that. Marner, JT, Bert, Rielly and Willie NMC can't be traded. Jarnkrok, Domi, McCabe, Brodie and Kampf have M-NTC contracts which limits the options where they can go. Including Matthews that's 11players who can't be traded or it's difficult too. Knies isn't being traded either. That leaves Robertson, Lilly, Benoit, Gio, Woll, Martin and Sammy available with no restrictions. Besides Woll and Lilly not a lot of value there.
