If your goal is to make Jenner your 3C...you're going to get outbid by a team who's goal is to make Jenner their 2C and willing to pay accordingly.

Edmonton is one of the few playoff teams that I'd say shouldn't be in on him (if he became available...which he's not).

The market gets his value to A-prospect, 2024 1st, 2025 2nd. Colorado, Vancouver, Boston, Carolina, NYR, and possibly Winnipeg are all likely to go there. It doesn't make sense for Edmonton to pay that for a guy who doesn't even have a shot at 2C, and with RNH on the roster, is arguably your 4th-best center.

Oilers back end is still a bit of a concern.
