I would say yes: two solid prospects a 1st and a 2nd. Myers is serviceable for the season.

Lindholm and Tanev are defensively sound, which should mesh with Tocchets coaching style

Bigg Price to pay for two rentals. Value is definitely good there for both sides.

Friedman mentioned earlier this year though that CGY helping VAN win a Cup would not go over well in the city. Lindholm might not be possible simply for that reason.

I think that the Flames could get more in a separate trades. I spitball Lindholm's value as a 1st+2nd, and Tanev as 2 x 2nds.

It comes down to how one evaluates Raty, and Brzustewicz. I would rather have 2 x 2nds. I don't think the Flames could flip Myers, so he's a negative asset in this trade.

I would be surprised if this trade happened, but you never know what could happen on Trade Deadline.

It's not worth it. Canucks shouldn't be giving away assets

All completely fair, but I definitely think you could flip Myers if you retain 50%. He's been a very solid, if inconsistent, bottom four D this season. Those players always end up fetching a good return at the deadline, especially in a seller's market like this year's.
