Yeah. I guess. Personally, if he is willing to or even wants to stick around in CHI, I am totally in favor of extending him and not moving him at all. I really would prefer to not make any moves that aren't bringing back 1st round picks at this point in the rebuild. The tear down is done, and we are already getting uncomfortably close to the reserve maximum and contract maximum. We have quite a bit of depth at most positions and we need to be thinking about adding more high quality top of the lineup players. Which, the odds of a 2nd round or later pick being a top of the lineup player are pretty slim. We just need stop gap players on short term deals as a means of getting to the salary floor, and to continue drafting and developing players well. Everything else at this point is gravy.
