That leaves Tanev, $2,250,000 retained, a 2024 5th and a 2025 1st for Olofsson. Now, to me, that seems like a pretty hefty price to pay for a 27 year old centre with 4 career goals. Flames will have to pass on that half of the deal.

Can’t imagine Avs pulling off both trades.
It makes sense for Giroux to be traded to a team that’s contending for the Stanley Cup, and same for Tanev and Lindholm.
I want to see both trades happen.

Not to mention that 1st is almost certainly going to Montreal in the Monahan trade so Calgary is essentially giving up their own 2025 top 10 pick here. Horribly lopsided trade

Foudy has been injured all season. Although he is currently skating with the Eagles and is close to returning, he'll need to spend some time in the AHL before getting a call-up. Also, JFL hasn't played center since he left Junior. The Eagles use him exclusively on the wing and he's only played on the wing for the Avs.

Avs fans need to give up on trying to trade for Lindy, especially at the cost of Byram. They are not going to trade what it will take for a rental of Lindy.
