The return for Girard is along the same lines as Newhook got last off season or what Detroit got for Hronek at the last deadline. Colorado isn’t going anywhere near that trade.

Wrong target my friend. Habs are already overloaded on left side defence. Not going to trade 2 guys playing on the right side for another lefty who is undersized and essentially plays the same type of game as our top prospect who could be in the lineup as early as the end of this season(Lane Hutson).

Not to mention it would make no sense for the Habs…

and just selfishly, if we have to move Girard, back home is the last place he should go. Not a good market for him right now and probably for his career.
