Leafs should not be spending assets on a goalie its just a waste

Makes you wonder if people watch the games. They said on the game tonight that Jones has a.973 save % in the first period with the leafs in 10 games.

In general Jones is doing good, Woll's coming back and what happens if Sammy gets his act together and comes back and looks like the guy from last year. You need at least 3 goalies going into the playoffs.

There's 0 need to go spend on a goalie in the end

Now not to say they should not go spend but a goaltender is last on that list

A top 4 RD and maybe a 4th line Wing upgrade over Holmberg or McMann would be nice

Exactly. You need 3 goalies going into playoffs and they don’t want to have to use Hildeby. If you want to hold your breathe that Samsonov will turn it around than go for it. Ned is making 1.5M and putting up really good numbers on a not very good Pitts team. Don’t see how this is crazy.

I agree that an upgrade would be nice but I also think McMann should get a chance to see what he can do on the 3rd line or call up Steeves. Eager to see him again.

The % of him rebounding is the same as trading for a guy and that guy making a difference
