If only the organization would fire Keefe. No longer a supporter.

After 4 years behind that bench:

- questionable player deployment

- still cannot get wins against sub .500 teams

- this season in particular, Treliving has definitely given him tools to manage the ice time amongst forwards better. Still plays the snot out of the big 4. See player deployment

- in game decision making has not grown sharper. Making some "interesting" decisions.

- team defensive concepts are completely put the window imo.

- a coaching staff that has a former Jack Adams winner the Walrus and a very respected Guy Boucher...... and the struggles remain real. Oh, he has support and experience.

Nope. The best before date has passed.

Paul Maclean. Won it as head coach of the Sens if my memory serves correctly.

He's still an assistant coach with the Leafs? Thought he moved on and its Boucher and Van Ryn now.

Boucher, VanRyn and Maclean are behind the bench and Maholtra is the eyes in the booth.

He has a kick ass coaching staff.

So, when you staff is that good, your GM gives you offensive tools and the results are worse....

Fire Keefe.

Seems like the big names run things there and he can't get them in line or something.

I have no clue.

All I know is that after 4 years, I would see some growth in how he manages games. I don't see it. Bertuzzi is down about 90 second TOI a night as a Leafs from his career average. Domi is about the same. These are two guys he could.play more (and let's throw in Robertson and Knies, too, lol) to better balance ice times as to not burn out the big 4 (see playoffs since he took the helm)

But the biggest thing is after 4 years, if you haven't figured out how to get your players to play 60 minutes against non-playoff teams I am not sure you are the guy.

All the Leafs had to do is play .500 hockey against that group, and they lead the division. Not that winning the division is everything. 4 years of the same results.

That is totally on Keefe.

Dude has 21 points in the last 14 and 48 total in 34 games this year.

He's only had 4 games without a point so far this year.

A 116-point pace.

That would be the third highest point total in Leafs history. Ever.

How have people now decided he's lazy and needs to go I swear to god everyone on this site has brain worms.

- Questionable player development: He turned Matthews and Marner from defensive liabilities into 2 of the 5 best defensive players in the game and neither are at 5 or 4 as an example, Holmberg and McMann came into the lineup and have been able to play better... Gregor, Bert, Bunting, Jarnkrok, Domi, Robertson, the list goes on

- Since when does Keefe play the actual games? Or tell his goalie to be abysmal against Columbus and Ottawa? Those games are on the players bc we've seen what they can do vs better team

- Look at Florida last year; snot shows up in the playoffs... And this year, Woll''s hurt long-term and Sammy's playing awful... So he's rolling their 3rd string goalie and hoping for the best... Not a good plan

- When you're goalie is averaging 1-2 bad goals, minimum, going to be demoralizing for your team defensively... And Keefe's not allowed to hold the top dollar players accountable

- That's the point, a strong support staff and to help Keefe, and it's worked
